Charge Bikes Pre Purchase Experience with FenixCommerce

For this edition of our Client Spotlight, we are featuring Charge Bikes, one of our newer clients in the Outdoor Sports category.

Charge Bikes provide a smooth, fun ride with less fatigue. Riding one is like having the wind at your back—you go farther and faster, without even breaking a sweat.

The idea of building the perfect electric bike didn’t happen overnight. Rather it was from years of experience building traditional bikes, observing the challenges and listening to customers about the problems and issues that prevented them from riding bikes more.

Nick Larsen, founder of the Charge brand, teamed up with longtime friend and Cannondale’s VP of Product, Peter Vallance, to create the ideal electric bike in 2004 in Somerset, England.

Nick and Peter rethought every aspect of the electric bike experience, from buying to assembly, to storage and ownership, looking for smart solutions to the pain points they had witnessed over the decades building and riding bikes.

But bike riding isn't the company's only area of innovation; when they decided to take the brand online direct-to-consumer in the U.S. in 2020, they also wanted to lead the competition in the buying experience. To help them achieve this goal, Dyode--Charge's agency, and a partner of FenixCommerce--facilitated the introduction to Fenix and we are proud to have been a part of Charge's U.S. eCommerce initiative from the start.

Charge offers free shipping for every bike, and is using the Intelligent Delivery Platform to both find the best rate based on shopper location and product parameters, and to estimate and display delivery dates on the Product Page:
