Yes. The IDP supports an unlimited number of fulfillment locations including warehouses, drop locations, and physical stores. Our largest clients have more than 1000 fulfillment locations, including hundreds of physical stores from which they fulfill eCommerce orders. The IDP is capable of monitoring inventory at every location, maintaining operational parameters (e.g. open days/times, cut off times, carrier pick up times) for groups or individual locations, and determining the best location from which to ship an order to a given customer based on that customer’s location and other factors (e.g. inventory level, promise day selected, etc).
The IDP supports configuring temporary shipping delays at the fulfillment location, specific zip code, or zip code range level. So if for example a hurricane or snowstorm hits a certain part of the country, you can add a delivery buffer for just that area. This functionality can also be used to account for temporary labor or capacity issues at specific warehouses, carrier delays in specific areas, etc.
